Caves and mines can provide an interesting destination for hikes. Caves may
appear along the trail for more traditional hikes, or they may be
destinations reached through a hike. Several larger caverns, or
systems of caverns, in various parts of the United States are tourist
attractions unto themselves, and have been commercialized.
This part of the hiking.info series of websites provides information about caves. Initially, it provides information about some of the commercialized tourist attactions, but as more hikes are added to the hiking.info pages, links will be added to independent hikes featuring caves. |
